Care Home Friends and Neighbours: Intergenerational Linking Project is an exciting national initiative from My Home Life England and The Linking Network, combining expertise on quality of life for older people living in care homes with expertise focused on young people and inclusion. The project has adapted to new ways of working and is tapping into the wealth of resources, capabilities and networks that young people and older people bring to their communities.
The project is funded through the #iwill Fund. The National Lottery Community Fund and the Department of Digital, Culture, Media & Sport are each investing £25 million seed funding to create the #iwill Fund. The Dunhill Medical Trust is acting as a match funder and awarding grants on behalf of the #iwill Fund.
